Day 3 - Eyasi Lake Area
The Eyasi Lake Area is renown for their onions... among other things. We had a guide to introduce us to two of the tribes living there, thye Hadzapi and the Dakota.
Hadzapi
The Hadzapi Bushmen are living like our ancestors, in caves. They hunt to feed themselves and their numbers are growing fewer every year. They face medical and health issues as they live in the mountains and around the Eyasi Lake.
The Hadzapi haev a few dogs they take for hunting, but they only eat the leftovers, if any...
Bows and arrows, handmade by the tribe. They also poison certain arrowheads, depending on the size of the game they are hunting.
Spears.
Jewellery made of beads. It's really a popular trade to make money off tourists.
Dakota
The Dakota tribe lives off their metal working. They melt scrap mteal and reforge it to whatever they need. They trade their work for coal, cattle, more metal and other essentials things.

These bracelets are the Dagota trademark. Every member of the tribe wears one and they are quite pretty as well.
Different tools the Dagota make to trade or sell.
End of day three.
*Our whole trip was organized by Base Camp Tanzania and we had a wonderful time!*
