Day 5 - First day in Serengenti National park
The Serengeti plains are reknown for their animal migrations. You can see thousands of animals moving on the huge plains. The park holds also a large amount of lions, which we weren't lucky enough to see. Fortunately, there is a large diversity of other species that we could observe during the day and a half we spent there.
Day 6 - Moving to the Ngorongoro Crater
We woke up before dawn to be able to drive a little more through the Serengeti National Park before moving towards the Ngorogoro Crater.
End of days five and six.
*Our whole trip was organized by Base Camp Tanzania and we had a wonderful time!*

A tawny eagle, if I am not mistaken.
A lovely family of hyenas.
A buffalo with a friend on its back.
A warthog.
More baboons.
Not shy at all, these guys!
There are 16 species of antelopes in Tanzania. So far we've seen the impala, the dik-dik, the waterbuck, the wildebeest, and here is the topi.
A hippopotamus taking it easy in the water.
It's the rain season and the bridge to the left is flooded, so cars and buses will have to wait for the water level to come down to be able to cross the river.
A leopard hanging out in a tree. These are not easily seen, but we were lucky and had the chance to spot a few of them in the park.

Through the window, an impala crossing the road.
A jackal, again through the window.
A tree full of marabou storks.
Another specie of antelope. the hartebeest.
The banded mangoose.
Rock hyraxes.
The dwarf mangoose.
A view of the Ngorongoro crater from our campsite.
An elephant taking a drink at the water hole near the campsite.
End of days five and six.
